The Italian landscape has been memorialized by artists for centuries. Now it’s your turn to bring your style and passion to the Italian countryside.Nestled in the southern Sannio hills, this workshop offers you the opportunity to leave the four walls of your studio behind and observe the landscape, streetscapes and people of small Italian villages. Participants will share large double rooms in La Locanda della Presuntuosa. The villa itself provides numerous vistas to enshrine on canvas. Located in Pontelandolfo, the property is in a wonderful park of six hectares with olive groves, orchard, pond, swimming pool, tennis court and woodland trails.Within an area steeped in history and culture where the main plaza is still the center of town life and lore, Pontelandolfo’s cobblestone streets take you to a medieval castle tower and cafés, ancient Roman churches and miniature works of art hidden around the village.
