Writers’ Refuge in the Sannio Hills takes its name from i rifugi, mountain huts that provided a haven for shepherds.  Imagine a nurturing sanctuary providing writers of all genre the time and place to work on their creative projects.

Nestled in the Sannio Hills are the town of Morcone and Pontelandolfo.  The Italian landscape and village life are an inspirational catalyst for creativity.

Included always are:

• Roundtrip Transportation from the Benevento Train Station.

• Housing

• Meals with local wines.

• Welcoming “Bar Crawl” –  Drinks and local snacks included. Discover off-site places to write while absorbing local Italian culture. Transportation to bars provided daily.
